At the end of the month of May, my climber rose, Summer Snow, almost finished the blooming season. I was cutting off finished flowers on a 1-m high step ladder.
And it happened when I stretched for the high withered ones.
Thud!
That was the moment to put period on a beautiful pleasant day in my garden. I hit my head and right side of the body as intensely as my body bounced.
An ambulance carried me slowly to the hospital, slowly and gently because a slight dent on the road could kill me with pain.
I ended up on the bed of a hospital with two broken ribs, a head bruise, and bruises on my body.
Today is the first day I am a little free from acute pain. So the first thing I would like to tell and warn you: Make sure four feet of your ladder or stepladder are stably on a flat floor. Enjoy your gardening!
